A close and good personal working relationship among the implementer and partners is one of the factors that encourages quality performance. As such, activities like the TVET Forum which will enhance teamwork and camaraderie with TVI, AC Managers and Assessors.
It is in this light that Pasay-Makati District Office convened the 2016 TVET Forum at K-Line Maritime Academy Phils. last August 31, 2016 with the theme: "Engaging the Participation of TVET Partners in Promoting TVET in the Country".
Part of the Forum activity was the discussion of the Two-Pronged Strategy in Poverty Reduction and TESDA Reform and Development Agenda by DDG Rosanna A. Urdaneta. The Integration of the 21st Century Skills in the Development of New Standards for Basic Competencies of the Training Regulations given by Ms. Marjorie "Marge" Mendenilla. The Diploma Curricula Exemplar on IT and Tourism by Engr. Levvy Traqeña and Mr. Jaewe T.Piansay. Another discussion on Drug Prevention Education Awareness Program by Exec. Dir. Daniel T. Alfanoso III of CADAC. Also, discussion on the 2016 Policy Agenda was given by Dir. Ma. Angelina M. Carreon followed by the announcement of PAMATEA President, Mr. Oscar M. Ibay.
The 2016 TVET Forum will be held at K-Line Maritime Academy Phils at 10:00am to 2:00pm on august 31, 2016.
