Establishment of Committee on Decorum and Investigation (COdI)
Pursuant to Republic Act 7877, an Act Declaring Sexual Harassment Unlawful in the Employment, Education or Training Environment and for other purposes, also known as the "Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995", the Employer or Head of Office in a Work-related, Education or Training Environment shall "Create a Committee on Decorum and Investigation of cases on sexual harassment."
In view of this, all TVIs are advised to create their own CODIs. A draft of CODI Composition and its roles and responsibilities for reference can be viewed here.
Implementation of T2MIS
In line with agreements made during the T2MIS Orientation for AC Managers and Processing Officers held on February 10, 2017 at K-Line Maritime Academy, that implementation of T2MIS will begin on March 1, 2017. The TESDA Pasay Makati District will start accepting request for assessment on February 22, 2017 for March 1, 2017 schedule of assessment using the online system.
New System for Training for Work Scholarship Grants under the Tendering System
A new system of granting scholarship slots starting November 2016 has been issued through the TESDA Circular 55 series of 2016 called "Tendering System for Scholarship Grants for Training for Work Scholarship Program".
Under the system, the TVIs with registered TVET programs can submit their Tender (Form 1) which can be downloaded here to TESDA PASMAK District Office. The slots to be tendered can be found in this pdf file.
Revised Competency Assessment Tool (CATs) for Bookkeeping
There is already a Revised Competency Assessment Tool (CATs) for Bookkeeping. The moratorium on the conduct of assessment is already lifted effective February 01, 2017 as per TESDA Circular No. 03 Series of 2017.
